What is the date and time of the events?
Saturday, June 6, 2020. We will be on site beginning at 8:00AM. Our partners at Blink Fitness will be leading a group stretch starting at 8:30AM. The 5K, Kids Fun Run and Senior Walk will all begin at 9:00AM.
Will there be activities for all ages and skill levels?
Yes! Run Warren is a family event and we encourage everyone to attend!
What are the events planned for the day?
Warm-Up Stretch: Blink Fitness will lead a fun and thorough stretch before activities begin.
5K Run/Walk: The main event. This run will be enough to make anyone sweat.
Kids Fun Run: Let your kids run wild with some supervised exercise.
Senior Walk: Our senior friends can stretch those legs with an enjoyable stroll.
Where is the run? What is the route?
We will begin in Warren City Square in front of City Hall. The course begins at Warren City Hall and progresses past the court building, though Licht Park, around Cousino High School, and ends back in Warren City Square. The route will be on flat and scenic neighborhood roads.
What is the route for the Kids Run and Senior Walk?
Both the Kids Fun Run and the Senior Walk will follow 1 Kilometer path around the City Hall building.
Is the 5K course certified?
Yes. The course has been certified by the United States Association of Track and Field (USATF).
How do I register?
Fill out the form here! We will be in touch with you shortly afterwards to distribute any necessary paperwork. On the day of the event, stop by the check-in table when you arrive and we'll get you ready to run!
Is there a registration fee for the event?
The fee is for the 5K is $25 for adults and $10 for students, per runner. Registration is open until the day before the race, Friday, June 5. Day-of registration will be available at the check in-table. Registration for the Kids Fun Run and the Senior Walk is $5. All funds from registration will go into the Warren Community Foundation fund and distributed to organizations chosen through our grant application process.
How do I check-in once I register?
Bibs can be picked up the day before the run, Friday, June 5, at Blink Fitness (Hours: 5:00AM-10:00PM, 26475 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48089). They can also be picked up the day of the event starting at 8:00pm on location. Once you pick up your bib you will be considered checked in for the run.
What are the age categories for the 5K?
Official and personalized results will fall under the following categories: Youth (13 and under). High School (14-19), Overall Twenties (20-29), Overall Thirties (30-39), Overall Forties (40-49), Master (50-59), Grandmaster (60-69) and Great Grandmaster (70+).
Are there any prizes?
Every person in all three events will receive a Run Warren t-shirt as well as a participation medal! For the 5K: The top male and female participant in each age category will receive a $25 gift card to Hanson's Running Shop. Also, the high school that receives the most pledged support (students, alumni, faculty, parents, etc.) will be awarded $1,000 for their athletic department.
Where and when will I receive race results?
Monitoring of the race will be provided by Eastside Racing Company. Each runner will be given an electronic chip that will measure the distance traveled and the time it took. Results will available shortly thereafter here on their website. For more information, please visit Eastside Racing Company.

What are the minimum age requirements for each event?
The Kids Fun Run is for toddlers through age 11. The 5k runners must be 12 years old or above. There is no age requirement for the Senior Walk.
Where do I park on the day of the event?
Ample parking will be available in the lots at City Hall and the parking garage directly behind City Hall.
